IRSReliefGuide is run by Chris Terry, who oversees the calculators and editorial content and is responsible for their accuracy and upkeep.
How our tools are built
Every calculator uses published, industry-standard formulas and current figures. We test the math, document our assumptions on each tool, and update the numbers when rates or rules change. We do not collect or store the values you enter — calculations run entirely in your browser.
Our sources
Our figures and explanations are based on IRS.gov publications and current IRS penalty and interest rates. Where rules vary by state or change yearly, we say so and link to the authoritative source so you can confirm the latest details.
